Opzun ("the Service") is designed to be privacy-friendly. We do not require user accounts, we do not collect personal information, and we do not use tracking cookies or analytics. This policy explains the limited data we do collect and how it is used.

2. No User Accounts

Opzun does not have user accounts, logins, or registration. You can use all features of the Service without providing any personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number.

3. Information We Collect

Coarse Geolocation

When you create and share a Zun, we store coarse geolocation data (city, region, and country) derived from your IP address. This is used solely for aggregate, anonymized insight into where Zuns are being created. We do not store your IP address itself, and the geolocation is not precise enough to identify you personally.

Zun Content

When you share a Zun, the strategy data you provide (ticker, strike prices, premiums, expiration date, strategy name, and notes) is stored so that others can view it via the shared link. This data is publicly accessible to anyone with the Zun URL.

Cookies

We use cookies only for essential functionality (such as rate limiting). We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies.

4. Information We Do Not Collect

• Names, email addresses, or any personally identifiable information
• IP addresses (only coarse geo is derived and stored, not the IP itself)
• Browsing behavior or usage analytics
• Device fingerprints
• Financial account information

5. Third-Party Services

The Service uses the following third-party providers, each with their own privacy policies:

• CBOE — Delayed options chain data
• Finnhub — Stock price quotes
• Yahoo Finance — Index price data
• Supabase — Database storage for shared Zuns
• Vercel — Web hosting and serverless functions
• Upstash — Rate limiting

These services may process your IP address as part of standard web requests. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.

6. Data Retention

Shared Zuns and their associated coarse geolocation data are retained indefinitely to keep shared links functional. We may periodically remove old or unused Zuns at our discretion.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect stored data using industry-standard practices provided by our infrastructure partners (Supabase, Vercel). However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. Options trading is an adult activity and the Service is intended for adults only.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted to this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
